In groups of two, we had to develop accessories for the already existing food container product range of Toppits.
The container for the butter dish is the smallest of the fresh food container range. It is released from its task as a container and now serves only as a protection against external influences.
Several studies have shown that food which has been heated in the microwave, is causing alarming changes in the human blood. Therefore, the cooking loop offers a healthy alternative. The consumer attaches the box to a water-filled milk pot. The steam heats the food inside the food container without releasing harmful substances. Milk pots have a standardized internal diameter of 140 mm so that the silicone ring can be attached to every milk pot.
Frozen fish and frozen meat have the characteristic of loosing liquid while defrosting.
The tipup inlay completes the process of freezing and defrosting in one single box. Hence, there is no need for taking the meat out of the container and searching for a suitable drainer. The inlay is put into the box before freezing the food. By activating the inlay during the defrosting process the leaking liquid can freely emit through several grooves and the food stays dry.
